I was over at www.Helidirect.com looking at BEC`s There are so many of them all with different ratings 3AMP 5Volt/6 VoltSwitch mode
or a 5.1 Step down voltage regulator then a 2.0AMP 5V or the 6V then there is a 3.5AMP 6 Volt. How do you know which one to use in what Application? know a 6V moves your Servos Faster but whats the AMP thing all About? In NOOB Terms if at all possible...or should i just ask now?
For a 3S MX400 using the digital servos that come with the DX7 what BEC Should i be looking at?

Hi, I may be wrong, but i dont think the servos that come with the DX7 will fit the MX400, i think they are Ds821's which are full size. You would need something like HS56's maybe HS65's or even Futaba S3107. I dont think they sell the DX7 with micro servos?

Here's a couple of links that may help exlain your battery Q's.

The align 35a esc has built in bec - will be all you need IMHO and i think the MX400 comes with a 25a esc which will do the job.

Hope this helps you. :D

Thanks for the Links and Info. Yes you are correct they are full size Servos. I don`t know why i thought they were going to be HS56 or 65 Size. The Sevros I have will have to do for now. I would like to Upgrade the two HS55`s I have for a couple more 56 or 65`s

Anyone want to trade 2 full size Digi`s for 2 56 or 65`s?
