A New Member has joined!
well, Ill try and add to the quietness of this thread and see if that will help! lol hey guys, Im about to join the few fpv members on helifreak in the battle to fpv myself! So at least there will be one more of us!
I have been flying my 450 for a year now, and can do figure 8s, stall turns, loops, rolls, ect. After my last crash, I began to think about all the time and effort put into this hobby, and began to come to the conclusion that instead of trying to be a 3d pilot, and hitting the dirt everyday lol, i would much rather do something more rewarding with my heli, and that being FPV. I started looking into FPV about last june or july, and was hooked on how amazing these things can be. SO my sister bought me the FPV 450 mounting kit from fpvpilot.com for christmas, GREAT stuff by the way. Anyways - I just mounted the kit to my heli, and im actually still in the middle of a rebuild, i have a new 65MG servo coming, and im replacing the bearings in my 430xl motor, so hopefully by the time I save for my FPV stuff, ill have my heli back the way it was, flawless with zero vibes and smooth flight. Over the next few months, Ill be researching all about this stuff, what to do and what not to do, and im going to hit it hard! Ill probably ask a million questions, and hopefully get some answers! Im excited about the new road im headed with my heli, and hopefully it leads to a 600 or 700 AP ship, in the future. SO i guess thats my intro into this very queit yet very unique club of fpv'rs, and hopefully i can add to the pool of knowledge yall have going on here! Thanks for being here and im sure you will hear from me soon! Stephen |
