DX7, spare channel question for Spektrum whizz'z

:) Hey guys,

Is it possible to have a switch on the DX 7 assigned to operate a servo say for pressing a button on a camera? I've got an AP setup and I'm looking at getting this rig but I need a spare switch to be able to trigger my camera.
Any info will be great!

One way is to assign Gyro to Aux2 and then use the Gear channel for your camera trigger. Otherwise I am pretty sure you can assign Aux2 to a swtich.

you can use mixing modes of the radio to assign functions to different switches. Basically the master and slave channel will be the same, then just assign the mix to an unused switch. Refer to page 56 of the manual. It's not really clear but it works.
