I've recently installed the G500T/S8700G combo in my T-Rex 600 helicopter. While testing my radio equipment (with the helicopter sitting on my kitchen table) I've found that the tail servo is twitching. The servo horn moves back and forth about 1/32 of an inch. It doesn’t matter whether the gyro is I heading hold mode or in rate mode.
I've been in contact with Horizon Hobby and they meant that what I describe is not abnormal, that it’s a gain thing and turning down the gain might cure the problem. Reducing the gain from 90% to 30% makes the servo horn move less but I can still feel the servo twitching.
It there anyone that has any experience with this combo and have anyone experienced the same as I describe?
