DX7 and other RX

I know it seems like overkill, but I have a T-Rex 450SA that is running the AR7000.

But my first helicopter was an Exceed-RC Falcon40. Which is a cheapo 4 channel heli. I was wondering if anyone knows if I can set up the falcon40 to work on my DX7? Would be fun to fly both of them at work with just the one TX, instead of hauling around that junky 4ch TX...

Yes you can. The DX7 will control and save settings for 20 models. You can use any rX that's compatible with the DX7. You can get a used AR6000/AR6100 for around $40.

From the various falcon 40 web pages, can't quite tell if it has a separate receiver. If it does, you can replace it with a AR6100 very easily.

If the falcon uses some kind of "all in one" receiver/ESC/gyro board, more surgery will be required. :)
