I've got a very basic question about the tail of the 250.

On all my current birds, the tail is linked to the main rotor. When the main rotor spins, the tail spins and it doesn't matter if the motor is running or not.

On a 250 is the tail driven off the main gear?
If the motor stops does the tail stop?

(If I got the above right) What difference does this make compared to a 450?

Yes and yes.

Other than you're not going to have much (any) tail control in an auto, dunno.
