9Z question? changing between Heli and airplane model type

I am new to the heli thing. I have a 9z I have used for my planes for years and have never switched between plane and heli modes. When I go to switch to heli mode, the radio gives me a warning saying I am going to lose current model data. Does this mean I am going to lose my plane setups? In other words will my plane setups still be in the radio when I go to switch back to planes? thanks for any info.

it means that the model you are trying to change will lose all it's data. The other models in memory will not be affected.
