Anyone own a Esky Belt CP? How is the quality? Does it fly well?

I bought one because I didn't want to mess up my 450SE learning.
In the hover the thing is fine. Forward flight has proven more difficult and resulted in a number of crashes. After one of them I was so P'd off I got the SE out for a fly..........what a difference. More responsive and far more accurate.
Other problems
- Main gears are made of cheese and strip as soon as anything touches (i.e. a small blade strike will result in the main gear stripping...and they can only e bought with a tail gear..hence I have a number of spare tail gears should anyone want one)
- feathering shafts are similarly fragile
- tail power/quality is marginal. I have a problem with the plastic components getting the full range out of the tail
- I am finding it very difficult to get the tracking sorted in that one 1/2 turn on a link is enough to throw a blade too far in the correcting direction
Being a test engineer I have been improving the beast to the extent that, with a metal head (Honey Bee King and belt run the same upgrade head), it is better, though until the metal tail gear turns up from RC711.com I still have problems with the ability of the tail to cope.
I figure that I might not be so critical if I hadn't got the nice SE as a comparison, but I would have thought it better to start with a TRex X (or is it S) that is upgradable with SE bits gradually than go with the Belt-CP

Hmm...I heard of other people getting this heli. They is pretty good for the price. The carbon version looks really good and has got some good ratings. I dunno I guess I'll have to look into it more.
Thanks!

I have the tail now dialed but the blade tracking is stil causing a problem on 'the belt' ....... 'tis dead easy on the TRex....I'd still say go for a Trex

I have the belt cp e013. it flys goood for the price. sure is tender with any kind of crash but the parts are cheep. I buy them from helidirect.com. I bought the heli from hobby-e-store. can't reccomend them since trhey show all the spare parts but they don't stock them and it takes forever fo them to order them from china then send them to you. I had a spare complete head from my t-rex and I put it on the e-sky and wiyh a little cheating it worked
but he shaft is to short and when you get it on you can only get +- 7 Deg out of it
can't find any mettal upgrades so guess will use this for a tender trainner.
see ya
