As long as I rebalance the blades is there any reason I can't fill in dings with epoxy or other filler?

What type of blades? Are you SURE there is no other damage? Internal?

325 woodies, has one nick where apparently I had a strike against the corner of my horizontal stab. Took the very tip corner off of the stab and made a 3mm hole in the blade at the LE. right at a piece of piano wire.

Agreed.

Let's see, what can happen, the last inch or two of the tip flies off, and hits you. And now the blades are serious out of balance, so while you are rolling on the ground in pain, the heli hsakes itself back into a kit, then crashes. :)

And at Tech MP prices for blades, it just ain't worth it.

Throw away the damaged blade, keep the good one, and later when you whack other blades, you can match your orphans to make additional sets.

BTW that wire is more likely a piece of solder for adding inertia to the blade.
