Today was such a beautiful day, I decided to fly even though the wind was coming and going. I tried a couple of funnels and ended up in a nose dive. Stupid motor bogged down and "BAM"....trashed blades, landing gear, blade grips, canopy, battery holder, main frame, bent shaft, bent flybar. :arggg: Luckily I had the ARF Blade stashed in the closet, so I busted it out and swapped out all the broken stuff. No problem....new Blade. Round 2...ding, ding. Put the Blade in the sky, way up there and here comes 15+ MPH gusts. Now it's like 100 yards from me and going away fast. Sooo, I shut it down. Now here's the weird part. It must have been 200 feet up and went down through the trees, but I walked up to it and there it was, right side up, not a scratch. Talk about lucky.

haha, i've flown in very VERY windy days. once that it won't go in one direction without loosing altitude, not much fun. but alittle breeze/15mph gusts...no problemo  sounds like alot of ur damage can be fixed. there' really not that much stress put on the head of the blade, so CA works fine, probably saved me more than 10pairs of blade grips already, skids are easy to fix... i betcha ur main frame broke where the rear skid/tail boom goes in right? some epoxy oughta do it (saved me a number of frames too :glasses2: ) another time i was just startign loops, and one was done too low, well... you can say just right. cuz i saw it go up... around... came back down... and was on the ground... (i did hit throttle hold 1/2sec b4 it did so). and the blades were still spinning... walked over... hmmm... would've been a 10/10 super landing  not a scratch on it.
