Hey guys I am just getting into helis and trading off some of my car stuff....anyway I got a Swift for one of my better cars that came with a JR XP 8103H.....So here is the question after all that, I also traded the parts for the car for a NIB CPP. Again I am sorry to ask this but can I take the RX off the CPP looks like two sided tape holding it to the 3-in-1 and the bottom and back and switch it to a R700 with a 72.110 crystal, or can I just switch the crystal in it to a 72.110 and use one TX for both helis?.....again sorry to ask but I have only used Spektrum in the past, so I don't understand this whole crystal thing.

Yes, you can. No need to remove the entire unit from the CCP. Just undo the 4 screws that hold the case cover on and remove the existing reciever. This leaves the mixing unit (which you need). For very good details go here. What your trying to do is very common.

JR receiver can be used and will work just fine. You cannot just swap crystals as the E-Flite receiver is negative ( Futaba) shift.

I'm flying mine on a 9303 With a castle creations RX. Works well.

He has a CP pro with a separate RX and 3 in 1.
Just pull off the RX and you're good.

Thanks guys....It is seperate so I will pull it off and change it out. Any infomation on the sythesized JR module for a 8103? Good investment or save the money? Sound like it would be nice to have!?!?!?!?
