hey , heres my fix , did it this way because I didnt have the right size bearing , looks good , the plus side , its only on 1 side , I use 2 smaller bearing and another small innerrace bearing washer and a big washer for the flange , I also like the fact that the belt will stay in the middle of the boom , even though it will hit the sides anyway , but at least it shouldnt hit as much as with the free floating 3 bearing idea MA is useing

That is actually what I did. This is the way that I also read the instructions. I havent had any probs like this.

hey , well , the belt stayed put through 5 flights yesterday , so far so good .

i got the bearing mod kit today from MA but the instructions dont say which side it goes on. can someone tell me? left or right? viewed from rear.

the one for the tail belt idlers. a non flanged bearing is placed between the 2 flanged bearings on one side (?) and one of the brass spacers is removed. i just cant remember which side it comes off on

i agree. i had the problem then i didnt then i did again so i called ma and they have a fix.

non flanged bearing goes on the left sideif viewed from the rear.

I did this mod back in March and supposedly this is why MA did the non-flanged bearing between the two flanged bearings fix?
