I got my dx7 on charge the whole night about 10 hours, in the morning i turn it on it said 11.2v and i can see the battery bar about 80%

I had alook at the booklet, didnt tell me much about charging.

This dx7 is australian version (bought from aust LHS) but i read somewhere saying it need to charge at least 18hr, and the light on the charger need to be off for fully charge,

I disconnect the charge this morning coz i have to leave for work. and i didnt want to leave it on charge.

any idea

Yea, that's normal and nothing to worry about.

Isn't suppose to be 100% or at least 90% full bar when u turn on the Tx?

It happened once, while i was doing the ESC programing and Gyro adjustment, the control beeping and turn off at 9.8v, and i fully charge it.

What i found from this dx7, when u go through the program, or do the settings the battery seem to drain out quickly. hopefully flying time will give longer

Thanks

IIRC the ni-mh batteries in the Tx are fully charged at 11.1V. But some people have gotten up to 11.5V.

As for the time it takes to discharge the battery, it should last close to 6 hours and have a warning alarm go off at 9.0V.

Andrewl,

I received this email from Spektrum this morning.

Here is the link - http://www.spektrumrc.com/Articles/HobbyWire.aspx

There is an update addressing the DX7 and its charging issues.

Good Luck,

Cuss
