i would like to know if you can fly in hh hold all the time do you have to set up heli to hover in hh and rate mode or just leave it hh all time anyone who could help thank you

99% of flyers only ever use HH mode ...

I would like to expand on this question a bit. I have a 450 on a dx6 with the futaba 401. The gyro gain is slaved to the flight mode switch (top left of transmitter). I can't find way to have heading hold in both flight modes. As set up according to the 450 sa manual, you have HH in normal mode and rate setting in idle up. Is there anyway to have HH in both modes?
