Hey guys,
what about to start a thread with hints and tips to substitute the original
stock Shogun/Zoom parts for another ones than can be even better?
Example: where can I find a quality substitue for the stock gears? For the main shaft? For the tail pushrod? for the tail fins? Etc, etc, etc...
I LIKE TO PAY LESS FOR THE BEST!!!
I´m sure all of us have some hints to share.
My hint: buy a sheet of Expanded PVC (also known as Sintra)1,5 to 2mm and make about 800 to 1000 tail fins and Z-bens. How? Cut they way you like most and mold it as the way you also want with a heat gun for about 15 to 25 seconds. Voilá it´s ready to replace, paint, etc, etc, etc. Also use it for anything you want, from gyro mounts to whatever you desire
