does the search light work?

Yes it does. I have it wired to a seperate NiCd battery pack and switch. It pivots up, down, left and right.

The switch can be seen below along with a pic of the light on. It's a small MagLite inside a piece of PVC tubing attached to the fuse by a home made metal bracket.

I have had it for a few months now. It was an upgrade from my Trex 450 that i was seriously getting bored of. It was the perfect choice for my rapidly maturing flying style and I love it to death. I must say "knock on wood" that i haven't crashed it yet but I know what the future holds. Im flying Curtis Main's/Flybar Stubz/Tail Blades and they perform great. Powered by the popular OS .50 Hyper and running 30% fuel I've got TONS of power.
