Doesn't tppacks.com have those? I'm not positive. Check with GGoodrum here on HF. He'll be able to tell you.

That's the Zero-G conversion. It's very nice, but also very expensive.

Try Gary Goodrum at http://www.tppacks.com/. He has a CCPM conversion for $79.00. It's simple to install - you don't have to dismantle the whole heli to do it.

I used it on one of my scale birds and it works fine.

Ron

Edit: just looked and he is out of stock, but you could send him an email and see when he will have more.

I'm curious what you think the CCPM conversion is going to do for you. I mean I can understand it in RocketMans specific case to fit a scale machine to get rid of the pitch arm but are you thinking its going to fly better?

From my own personal experience, the CCPM Raptor does NOT fly any better than a regular Raptor.

I tested my conversion in the regular fish head body before I installed the mechanics in the scale fuse. There is no appreciable difference in performance; nor is there any significant weight saving. (Maybe a few grams.)

The conversion works well, but it's not a silver bullet.

Guys I want to upgrade my titan head block to metal. I found two parts. One is Raptor 30/50 Metal Headblock (PV0338) and the other one is Main Rotor Hub R50SE (PV0484). Which one do I need?

Hassan,

First of all - I am not a 3D flyer, so I cannot say if the CCPM conversion will work better. I am old fashioned and think the mechanical system is easier to set up and easier to keep in trim. Each servo does one job and one job only. HOWEVER - as I gain more experience with my T-Rex and Lepton, I may soften my stance on this issue. How's that for waffling?

The differences between the two head blocks: PV0484 has the head button machined as part of the block. The flybar seesaw slips through the headblock. The PV0338 is similar to your stock headblock. The seesaw drops in from the top and the head button is bolted to the top of the seesaw. If you buy this one, you will have to buy a head button, if desired.

Either one will work fine. One of my Rappie 50s has PV0338, the other PV0484. I cannot tell the difference - but again, I'm not the best person to ask.

Hope this helps.

Ron
