NiCd RX pack

what would be a safe level to run my Futaba 1500ma Rx back down to? fully charged its about 5.7v and if i use it for 2 flights the voltage goes down in the low fives and i put about 280 ma back in. how many mah can i safely use and what voltage till im in danger?

I think you can use it for lower voltage, only using 280 out of 1500 does not seem much to me at all. For me I have 1900 packs and below 4.8 I stop.

4.0 - 4.4 volts should be a reasonable minimum for pack life. But for servo performance, 4.8 minimun.

well yes, 1.0 - 1.1 V per cell is really min, should never go below this, even cycling (no load) !
