Here's my first cheapo, quick build attempt at getting my Sony Camcorder airborne.

However, there's vibration in the image. The video on Google doesn't show the vibration as bad. But when I burned the movie to DVD, the vibration in the image is much worse.

Any suggestions on how to take the vibration out of this frame under the heli, or should I just throw it out and start over?

Here's the link to the video:

It looked fairly stable other than the vibration. Nitros are the worst for AP but you could try adding foam around the camera to cushion some of the vibration.

Welcome to the world of Aerial Videograghy,, If you don't stop right now, your going to become a addict,, :D :D Vibes are your worst nightmare, Not only do you need to dial in your heli, but now you have a camera mount on there to dial in too, If you are useing a downlink to view live feed, you might try differant head speeds to see if you can find the sweet spot, Padding the camera is a good suggestion, the more you can isolate the camera the better,, Well good luck, and keep it at,, Video is awesome, thats what got me hook, and truly smooth video from a AP heli, is hard to accomplish,, but once there it is really cool :smokin: :smokin: ... actually it looked pretty good - hard to tell due to the encoding artifacts. I really enjoyed the stall turns. :)

I'd put some padding around the camera and try again.
