Hi all!

I've been struggeling getting the Futaba 12z to work with the "4 in 1".

I can get all servos moving in their directions, but I can't figure out how to arm the darn thing (that's the 4-in-1). No main motor and no tail rotor. Other than that I'm ok.

Now - has ANYBODY managed to do this? If so, I'd very much apprecitate a soulution as to how this darn thing is set up...in detail.

I about to open the door and throw this thing in the trash can

:arggg: :arggg:

Thanks!

Check your throttle end points, you may have to adjust it for the 4-in-1 to see your transmitters 0 throttle.

Thanks. I'll give it a shot later today.

By the way, am I supposed to leave the channel assignments in the radio the way they are by default?

I just programmed a Futaba 6EXH to my Pro. I couldn't arm either until my LHS reversed the throttle channel for me!
I left all channel assignments as default.

Got it sorted out.

Turns out I had to change the channel layout from the radio default to this:
1 aileron
2 elevator
3 throttle
4 rudder
5 gain
6 pitch

Layout on the 12z is different from other Futaba radios :arggg:

One I got that sorted out, the 4-in1 armed and ready. :glasses2:

Great, glad you got it going. What you had to change it to is the default for the 6 ch. You would think they would standardise it for the whole line!

Beats me, but the layout on the 12z (and 14mz as well I think) is something like
this:
Ch 1: Throttle
Ch 2: Rudder
Ch 3: Gyro
Ch 4: Aileron
Ch 5: Elevator
Ch 6: Pitch

No wonder I had a hard time figuring this darn thing out.

That's just weird.. On my 9C it's:

Ch1 - Aileron
Ch2 - elevator
Ch3 - throttle
Ch4 - rudder
Ch5 - gyro gain/gear
Ch6 - pitch

That's what I found out after hours of searching. Channel is different on the 12z and the 14mz. :dontknow

After remapping so that the layout was similar to the 9C, it was just plug and play
