I'm new to helis. I have had a Axe now for about a month. I'am hovering in a 2' circle and flying around a good bit. I have noticed some prefer to use a different radio. I would like to upgrade the radio system to something that could be used on a T rex later. Can I do a brushless motor? I use 1320 20c burst battery, I really like how long it last. Can I relocate the battery and move up to 2100? The stock battery is 116 Grams. the 1320 80 gr. I use a e-sky tail rotor, much stronger and cheaper. I use this clear shrink wrap on the main blades, Makes them much more durable and limited weight gain. I'm looking for a carbon main blade substitue from what heli max supplies. Help me out people I'm desperate to learn.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!

I didn't listen to the 'Wiz' at our LHS when he said, 'Fly it stock...' I should have. Save the upgrade money for an upgraded Heli and just learn what you can while replacing the cheapo parts on this one..

It'll cost you ~$1000 to get any other 'decent' kit in the air.. so keep that in mind when you want to put CF blades and $100+ in CNC parts on your <$200 AXE. Save the cheerleader, save the world. Er... save the cash for your next bird.
