What are you guys building your Hurrican's up with???

I'm planning the following:

OS50 Hyper
CY MPII Muffler
CY Radix 600mm Blades
Futaba R138 PCM RX
MultiGov Governor
Hitec HS-6965HB Servos (Cyclic & Collective)
Futaba S9253 Throttle Servo
LogicTech 6100T/6100G Gyro & Tail Servo

Wooo Hoooo - Can't wait! :banana

PS: This Gyro is comparable to a 611, yet this combo only costs $60 more than a GY401/S9254 combo. Sweeeeeeeeet!!

This is my first venture with a governor and away from the 401... :?

No I haven't received the kit yet! UPS says I won't get it until next week. Going crazy waiting! :happyd

I got the G-10 Frame. With the money I saved by not going CF, I spent it on the full metal tail!! :dance

Have you tried the LogicTech before? My only concern is setup. I hear the instructions suck!

NI havent tried the logitech yet. But I belive finless did some what of a instructional video on it. I am wishing I would of bout the tail but I didnt. I am going to fly the stock tail for now. Plus my wife is a little upset that I have spent so much money on one heli. Like that money is doing any good in bank!!! And what else is better to spend it on? I'm installing the servos right now. I am awaiting a piston for my hyper and hopefully I will be flying it next weekend. But it will be with a 401 untill the 6100 gets here.

Wife? What's that?

Oh I had one of those once! Twice actually. They tend to do that fun limiting, fund limiting thing don't they!

Single now! No problem! Life is good! :banana

Ahh my wife supports me in this hobby really. She has helped with my website and even talked me into buying a turbine. She actually loves my hurrican. Thanks to Rusty it is the only one of its kind in the USA that is in a NITRO version.

Just got done setting up the servos and that went pretty damn quick took about 30 minutes to do the rods and all.

Quick tip. No big deal but when installing your servos if you are going with the mpm setup. Remove the servo tray and then install the servo's. Dont install it just yet. Throw in the throttle servo first.

Chase, the silver CF looks good! You'll be very happy with flight behavior! I have THREE guys coming over (seriously, from over 60 miles away) today to look the heli over. Bling factor will be maximized if I get my canopy today, cross your fingers!

Yea I am gonna have to get the tail. Just to get the bling factor up there a bit more. That way when the ground pops up it will hurt even more :arggg:

Hey, guys :)
You'll be glad to know the metal tail will take a beating and keep on ticking. :YeaBaby:
I have had the ground come up and smack my heli three different times :motz and every time had no tail damage. Not to say it won't happen but they are strong.

Three times?

Are you conducting destructive testing on that thing???

Just give it to me, I'll test it!

Yes,
"We mean business when it comes to testing" :hammer
Not really, Just my crappy piloting :Slap , which translates to good testing of the Hurrican's strenths. :Bow
