I'm putting a TREX600 in a Funkey 50 size Hughes 500D. I can't seem to find any good photos or diagrams of the proper lighting scheme. I'm assuming:
Red strobe for tail
Red strobe for rear of the head on top
Red solid for port nav light
green solid for starboard nav light
white strobe for belly
Anybody :dontknow

Here is a link to Hughes 500 pics for the lighting, it's going to depend on the heli you are modeling. Most 500's have the nav lights in the tip of the skids, solid white on tail and red strobe on top and whiteor red strobe on the belly.... Again it's going to depend on the heli you like...

Well I decided to go with some MAXX Lights from Century:
5 way harness
2 red strobes for top and tail
Red green nav lights on a Y harness
White strobe for the belly
White 14mm spotlight for the nose
I'll run it all on the 5 way harness on an AUX channel. Does this sound right?

It might be worth mentioning that on the 500D the aft nav light goes on the traing edge of the horizontal stabilizer, and the red tail strobe goes below it near the tail rotor gearbox. (Most helicopters have the strobe up top and the nav light basicly at the end of the tailboom).

I am just starting on a Hughes 500D projects with DIYRC.com Mini-Flash. The nav. lights sequence can be programmed on the Mini-Flash.

What sequence should the nav lights run?

Many thanks, Jeffrey
