I am getting a Duralites for my Tempest and not sure to get the 2800mah or 4000mah. I don't want to carry a lot of weight for no reason. Will the 2800mah give me 5+ flights on all digital servos Tempest w/GV1/GY601? I will also be using the 5.1 reg. As far as charging I will use my Triton charger. Thanks

Jimmy

I have the 4000 mah Duralite flat pack in both my Tempests. The battery tray is extended all the way forward with the battery mounted forward.

I would suggest the 4000 mah pack. The additional couple of ozs is very beneficial C/G and will also give more flights per charge.

Thanks David. I will get the 4000mah flat.

Jimmy...u might want to get the charger that duralite sells for the system...I don't think the Triton is capable of handling Duralites...I think the max cells that a triton can handle is 3. And I don't think it will work with the charge safe circuitry that Duralite has built in.

Also make sure u get a battery checker that will put a 1 amp load on the battery, the BR-2000 that Futaba puts out works very well for this. Make sure not to fly below 6.9volts, but u should be able to get about 10-12 flights per charge depending on how hard u fly.
