I have a raptor .30 w/ a OS.32 and a MP2 Pipe. I am using sord of slow servos. But with a good set of servos will this helicopter do most tricks? How about inverted? Do I need different blades than the stock wood and if so which ones? What is a good pitch range for stunt mode and normal mode? What HS are you guys running?

The raptor 30 will do most aerobatics with no problems, however the woodies do tend to flex a bit, I would suggest some cf blades, and at least blue dampners, reds even better.. Also the OS.32 is a little weak, so little room for collective error. I also would suggest the OS37 for a future upgrade. That heli, with your current set up should do inverted with no problems, just remember to be gentle with the collective, to avoid boom strikes, and not to load the engine too bad.

Wait, I was wrong now that you said that. I got the OS .37 with the MP2 pipe.

The 37 is great. I flew mine for several years. I did my first inverted hover with my 30.
A good set a fiber glass blades will do the trick. Not as good as carbon fiber, but cheaper.
My head speed was about 1900 in idle up, and 1550 in normal. Use a linear pitch curve starting out and adjust if necessary. Throttle curve in idle up should be 100 85 65 85 100. Some where in there. maybe a little higher in the middle, but not so fast it over speeds the head in transition from positive pitch to negative.
Make sure to set up your fail safe setting, and a throttle hold, and throttle kill.
Be safe, and have fun.

Great little Heli, It will take you all the way to 3d flying, Then drop a 50 in it and keep on ripping

Ok servos are "OK" Most of the new fast servos are way overkill , get them when you can afford them. On a thirty it won't make that much diffrence.
As you get better and move into the 50 class then it's time
