Ok im a newbie but i just took mine out yesterday to straighten my main shaft.Ok here goes there is a little pin in the middle of the shaft above the swashplate.Pull that pin out then take the head off. After that loosen up the collar and then remove the battery tray then slide the shaft out.Thats it thats what i did.

Yeah i also bent my spindle. But after straightening those out it was good as new. Also you might want to check your blade balance that will make it wobble also.

So many ways to make a helicopter wobble...

1. Check the main shaft
2. Check the flybar
3. Check the blades for balance
4. Check the blade pitch and tracking
5. Check the spindle

I think it's possible to bend the plastic head...

It pays to balance the head assembly by removing the motor and blades and lying the heli on it's side. Spin the assembly and see if it is imbalanced, change the balance by moving the flybar and/or flybar weights. That will show you problems with the flybar and head and reduce wobble. Then spin the booger up and watch it without blades, it should be smoooooth. Then add your blades and spin it up again, if it goes to pot you need new blades. Blade tracking can make a big difference too, especially if there is a slight wobble, that will make it much worse.

If you've replaced everything and it still wobbles, place it in the driveway and back over it with your car. Then go inside and explain to your wife that you need a new helicopter. Works like a charm.
