Thanks Mark. It was an interesting read for sure. I like the attorney am not of the opinion that we have in fact been grounded. Like he said there is a process for that and they haven't done it... yet. Hopefully this will get worked out to everyone's favor.

agreed. As as DJ pointed out in one of his posts, and the attorney eluded to, there is no section of the current FARs that addresses our small model aircraft. Nor, as far as I can see, does the FAA currently have any authority over uncontrolled airspace.

However, I have little doubt that in this post 9/11 world, the FAA will attempt to gain control over our activities - and probably will be successful. Therefore it is vital that each of us remain vigilant, and actively engaged with the FAA - it is your government after all. Glad to see the folks at AP Landing have taken the common sense approach and sought legal counsel. Pity RCAPA appears to be way out of their league here.
