Newbie in Tampa Florida

Hello to and glad i am in this site. your all very informative and some verry funny. Anywhoo I got a Trex 450 Se and i am just waiting for my dx7 so i can finish this up. however i was wondering i have Real Flight G3.5 Simulator and i found a user created trex 450 however it seems real hard to stay in hover for one place very long. i know i am a newbie but is this maybe a bad version someone created??? or is it actully that hard to hover. also anybody in the Tampa Florida area who flys and wiling to take a newbie under there wing i am willing.

The sim is pretty close but you'll find a few differences on the real thing. Hovering is easier on the real thing IMHO. One other thing the sim doesn't do is altitude changes. On my Heli it drifts up and down slightly as I hover, the sim doesn't do that. Overall the Sim is awesum to help you learn correct reflex when things go bad but can't totally replaced the experience gained from actual flight.

Look up ErichF, he lives in Tampa, and is a great pilot/instructor.
Given a day or so He'd probably find you, however if you PM him you can get his attention and assistance quicker.

thanks guys. i cant wait to get my tx so i can start my hover training. its on back order so its kinda pissing me off but at the same token gives me more practice on the sim. also do u reccomend and particular heli to train on I have real flight G3.5 and no add ons or expansion packs.
