Just tried it today, My God this thing is a beast!! It would leave my Raptor 30 in the dust on climb outs. Can't use all the power and got 18 minutes of flight. Motor alittle warm, battery barely warm. High 50's here today though.
I got a set of LIKE90 wood blades but haven't used them yet.
Anyone have any thoughts on them? What to expect and setup etc?
What a great little heli this is.

No 3D yet . I do know even with the rather heavy 2100TP pack there would be more than enough power. I've been flying about 8 months now so can't tell you much in that department. What would you like to know?

Are you using stock blades. What gyro. What rotor RPM Guess if you have to.
Just tring to put togther a good 3D machine for this guy to practice with.

So far stock blades. They are surprisingly good. A CSM micro heading hold gyro.
RPM's? I would guess 2200 to 2300. Seems like the faster the better. With this motor it can easily accelerate the blades with collective stick, so I backed it off to about 80 to 85% throttle. 90% and up is insane,,,,,at least for me but your friend may like it/ but this is with a 8 tooth pinion gear from LIKE90. I am going to try the LIKE90 blades which are the same price as the foam stock blades. Battery temps with the TP2100 are just warm,,,400 dh is all but cold BUT my collective throttle ratio is allways bent twards rpm NOT Torque
