Fan collets fit on OS91csps?

I'm trying to install the fan on my OS91csps. I'm using the washer that comes with the engine, then the bottom collet, then the fan, then the top collet, etc.

The problem is that the top collet does not seat. It hits the shoulder where the threads end, not the second (larger) shoulder. Is there a different top collet I'm supposed to be using on this engine?

It appears that the collet I have >might< have an interference fit, but that means if I force it on, it will never come off again. I can't believe that is the intended fit.

Hi Mark,

There is no problem with an interference fit just crank it down. Then get a Min Air Fan puller before you need to remove the fan :glasses:
