Hi all,

Just a quick battery question.

I bought the following heli to fly around the house.

The battery for it is

But, the battery is out of stock.

My question is other than the black color of the Novus Sea Cobra battery, is the battery for the Novus CP (4G3) and FP (4#3B) the same thing?

It's basically a 3.7v, 1s, 400mah battery. Is the custom black battery meant for the Sea Cobra just for show or is there something else to it?

In general, the Sea Cobra looks like a Novus VP with a shell. Are most of the internal parts compatible?

Thank you in advance.

Did you mean the Novus FP? I think that is BL, that's why the higher price. Some parts are interchangable (skids, blades etc) but not frame, motors (if BL) head etc.

The batteries in question are basically the same.

Ya, can use most 400 and 500mah "walkera" battery. But the 850mah battery from the M120d01 will not fit as it is much bigger. The electronic stuff are different as John said cause brushless vs brushed and they redesign the 4in1 to fit it inside the fuselage.
