Please tell me phoenix isnt like this video shows?

I was looking at the phoenix website and downloaded this video:

Is this really what phoenix is like? It looks terrible! Ive read many many rave reviews on phoenix and was about to get one but something in that movie just does not look right to me. The way the heli moves around looks completely unrealistic to me. Maybe the pilot is too good or maybe its the way he flies? His settings or computer hardware capabilities? I cant put my finger on it but it just looks all wrong to me.

So is it just the video or is the sim really like that?

A number of us, my self included, upped the simulation rate to 125%. Other than being slightly slow, it looks pretty much like that on my system. I'm not sure what you see wrong with it. The only thing I see is that I can't do those moves as well as that pilot does them.

Maybe if you tell us more specifically what's wrong with the movie we can help you.
What's so terrible? What's wrong with the movie?
If you cannot put your finger on it try at least to explain what you mean. The only thing I find unrealistic of the movie is the bad resolution, it's a lot more realistic on my computer screen.......

Bah, its nothing, Im sure its just me expecting too much from a sim. It just looked a bit too smooth to me at first. I watched it a few more times and it looks a lot better to me now hehe.

I know exactly what you mean Helder. When I first saw the video it looked like the helicopter was flying thru mud or something. It seemed to float rather than fly but I went with it anyhow because of the reviews. The actual program looks nothing like the video. It is much smoother and more realistic. I really like it and it is definately better than Aerofly Pro. I only have the old version of Aerofly to compare it to so I cant say wether it is better than the deluxe version or better than G3 or not. I don't think you would be dissapointed if you bought it though.
