Ben using the thunderpower 325mah 45C for few days now and wow what a diffrence..
8 minut flights with 6 minuts full power and way better performance than stock or hyperion.. thunderpower all the way for me.. Got a 325 65C on the way .. dont think its cona make much diffrence than 45C but will let u all know.. and yes im stunt flying and flipping it and no the extra weight makes no diffrence but heli is lot more stable and responsive with way more consitant faster headspeed..

Did you weigh the packs? Curious to see how much heavier they are.

I have 1 thunder power, costs me 35$
I bought it a whle back, charges at 1c and discarge at 20c
Then I found hyperion, never looked back
Tp 320 heavy and expensive, 10$ and 12 grams
I seen those packs a while back, I decided to pass
with my hyperions I just change the pack after 4 min
I have 16 packs now, but im making 2s packs out of 6 of them for my bl mcpx
1 is staying stock

Need to see the vids please. What does “and yes im stunt flying and flipping it” mean? In your sticky post you said you are a newbie, so does that mean you are flipping it in and out of inverted and she holds altitude without bogging? Also, what does the tail do in inverted flips and funnels?
Longer flight times are not an advantage for me, but if the packs have a big improvement on HS hold for inverted flips, funnels etc I’m interested, assuming they don’t come at a weight penalty and negating any improvement.

I do like TP... My favorite packs so far out of the ones I have tried for my 450... But from my experience with Hyperion lately I may get some bigger ones too cuz they seem to be pretty dam good!
For the ‘stock’ bird, I think the Hyperion 240’s and micro deans are probably about as good as it gets when considering an all around balance of power, weight and performance.

The tail holds a lot better with these packs too. I think the main reason for the blow outs is because the main motor is drawing too much leaving the tail with nothing

Do you have a picture or how they fit on the heli?
I'm guessing they don't fit in battery holder you had to modify?

In for pictures and weights as well.
Is it this? (http://www.amazon.com/Thunder-325mAh-1SP45J-Battery-Shipping/dp/B003RCDRZ8)

I heard these things catch fire if you poke it too much too
45C would be pretty sweet...I might grab a couple just to see if it's any better despite its weight.
Would placing deans micro connectors make a bigger difference too?
Still have to switch over from my stock connectors on the 23 batteries I already have =-\

YES! I have been preaching these little micro-deans like they are the best thing since sliced bread... I even dismantled an e-flite pack and micro-deans ized it and performance was up to par with the hyperions but flight times were shorter. I broke that pack though and it has been dismantled, neutralized and stripped of its copper foil and thrown in the trash.

Glad I got time after class before I gotta go to my kids' track meet today...hope my LHS has them in stock, tonight's my late night! :D
Looking forward to these connectors, been struggling with myself whether or not I want to convert, but looks like I will be. Excited to see the difference!!
