when i connect my TP205 balancer to my 3S lipo it just beeps at me continuously , what does this mean?

A cell imbalance between the cells in your pack.

ok well if that is true , isnt the unit supposed to balance the pack then ? all it does is beep beep beep beep beep beep beep :arggg: and does nothing else as near as I can tell ,
I have had other packs out of balance and when I put the balancer on it blinks three or four times and then starts bleeding out the cells that are over .
this beep beep beep continuously is driving me crazy with this pack

Read the directions that came with it. I don't have them, but there is somewhere that says if the imbalance is above a certain amount it will beep.
That is what is happening to you, I think it is a safety feature to warn you of impending pack failure.
