I just succesfully flew my CPP in 16-20 mph winds. Granted I didnt get more than 30' off the deck or 100' away but I did a whole pack at an average of 6-8' up without hitting the dirt (or wet snow in this case). The new BL motor and DD tail definately helped !! I aint bragging just amazed that I wont be doing repairs tonight. One more fully charged pack left.......should I? I think I shall

:noteworthy
I can only hover in a light breeze, and only if it's consistent. My last replacement of main rotor blades was due to only a 5-10 mph gust!
Nice flyin'!
Nice man.....I am totally jealous. Mine still has the YO-YO-s maybe I would do better in the wind! So frustrated to not be in the air! Hope you made it through the second pack safely....

Direct Drive http://www.bladecprepair.com/man_tr_dd_conversion.html this will tell you what you need. Replacement rotors are like $.81 at my LHS. Personaly I like this setup. Chopperdudes posted anawesome link for the CPP tail motor mods availible a whileback. I'll see if I can find it.
Found it. Becareful its loaded with tail motor stuff buts its a great thread.

I always slowly power up in normal to half stick before going 3D. Keeps the thing from spinning.
