It is probably a Bergen. and a YS91 is a 2 stoke nitro motor.

The tag on it says ys91 4-Stroke... isn't a 4-stroke gas? You'll have to pardon my stupidity, I fly electrics :)

A YS .91ACH??? How old is this helicopter? A 4-stoke YS is before my time.

ok, it is glow, you are right. It's not the intrepid. He says it's older than Intrpids and all he knows is what I posted above:

Bergin XL w/ys91 4-stroke engine

Anyone... know where I can get more info? I tried googling it, but not gettin' any results.

Thanks,
Lane

Is this like REALLY old? He wants $900 CDN for it. Prob. too much hey? It comes with NJR Servos and that's it, no electronics.

I just noticed the Bergin forum here. I'll post there too.

It is most likely a Miniature Aircraft Xcell with Bergen composite side frames and upgrades. Before Bergen produced thier own line of kits, they sold upgrade parts for other kits like the MA Xcell 60 to convert it from the bent frame style to the stacked frame.

Bergen did sell a 4 stroke kit back in the mid 90's...none of the 4 strokers were ever that popular...Miniature made one...Bergen made one...Kyosho made one...not sure if anyone else did...I have to say they did sound cool! I remember wanting one BAD! :D

You can call (or PM him here on HF) Chris Bergen at 269-445-2060...he would be able to tell you more...

Unless you are a collector of old servos and helicopters I would pass.
