GV-1 question

Hello all, just installed new GV-1 in a Raptor 50 with OS Hyper. I'm using a 7CHP radio and PCM 1024 reciever 8 channels. The on/off lead plugs to channel 7 switch which is 3 position. Normal/idle1/idle2.Right now it only turns on at idle2. Can I change this to idle1? Any advice will be appreciated other than I know this is not the best radio for the gov.

Plug the on/off into gear channel.

the gear channel (5) is being used by the single wire from the gyro.What should i do with it? Thanks Kenny

Doesnt the GV1 have an on/off and an RPM connector?

You need all 8 channels to use the GV1 and get the full use features of it. With 7 channels your just going to be able to use 1 speed on the GV1. A 7 channel transmitter will only transmit 7 channels.

The on/off plug from the GV1 will plug into channel 7. You can set the STSW on the GV1 to be active. Then the GV1 will cut off with the lowering of the throttle stick in Normal mode or Throttle hold.

Thanks David, Thats what I will have to do. I knew this was not the best radio for the GV-1 but I wanted to at least stop over speeding in no load conditions. Thanks Kenny
