I just finished my Razor and was checking the swashplate - isn't there supposed to be 4 set screws on the bottom of the swashplae for adjustment - mine doesn't have any. If I need to get them - how should that be adjusted,
Thanks,
Jeff

My kit did not come with them either. My last Stratus kit did come with them.
They are supposed to be to take any play out of the swash. The old machines had instructions to tighten them until the swash felt notchy then back them back off until it is smooth (one at a time of course)
Not sure if you need them now or not??

I assume you had no problem flying it without them - just wanted to be sure if flying without them was an issue.
Thanks for getting back to me,
Jeff

Jeff,
They are just 3mm X 5mm set screws. If I don't forget to put them in. I normally just tighten them till they touch the bearing. I have never used them to take any play out of the swash plate. I have some of the older style swashplates ( pre eCCPM) that have never had the set screws in them.

So what is the verdict?
Are we to assume that this just a old design?
The manual dosn't show anything going in there.

they aren't supposed to be installed during assembly here. If the swashplate gets play in the bearing at some point, you can get the set screws and tighten the bearing.

It is going to take a LOT of flights to get play in the MA swash.

sounds good - looks like I have some slight play, but I guess that is normal. Just wanted to know if anyone else had the same issue with no setscrews - thanks for everyone replying. Just about ready to take her up for the maiden voyage.
