Guys I'm thinking of getting a kasama head for my titan. There are several combos on z-rc.com. Shall I get the whole head assembly? I also want to know what swash plate to install to get the max pitch-cyclic required, and where to get the swash plate from? Will the red TT dampers fit on the kasama head. Is the kasama tail assembly any good? What else shall I Need to get or know about the kasama head before I buy it? Thank you.

Hassan,
I'm running Kasama on my Titan and love it. I bought mine piece by piece. I’m not running the blade grips or flybar control arms; I’m using the stock parts there. The Kasama head seems to be much more accurate and much faster to respond to inputs. I’m using the stock TT swash and I’m getting 11&11 collective, 8&8 cyclic set-up on the “middle-of-the-road” settings with no issues at all. Check out this site for set-up tips.

You can get much more range out of the head by changing the links on the mixing arms, but I’m happy with what I’ve got. The only thing I ran into is that I had to file the small plastic arms the go from the swash to the washout mixing arms. Takes about ten minutes and from what I read is pretty standard. And yes the red dampers work fine.
Good luck and have fun!!

I just bought the whole package (fan combo) & and also the tail blade grips too.
All very well machined and quick delivery. The only issue that I encountered was putting the headblock on the shaft. It is a nice tight fit (this is good), but it got stuck in the wrong position. There was nothing to grab the shaft by and rotate into the right position. Recommendation, take off the main shaft and install the block while off the heli.
One benefit that the Kasama head has over other other brands is that there are three bolts to mount the block. First is the main bolt - they all have this. The other two bolts clamp the block to the shaft and ensure it will not get sloppy.
Overall, I have been very impress with the head quality and fly performance. The red dampeners fit and work well.

Fan + Head combo saves a couple of bucks.. At least, that's what I told my wife.
:)
Now I'm just waiting for tailcase + tail rotor combo.

Hi,
I have a Kasama Head & Fan too, really amazing, and have flown about 6 Gallons with it without any signs of play developing. Actually, it has become smoother and smoother as the links wear in..
Have a look at www.heli-4ever.de They have recently posted a review and my assembly experiences are in the assembly manual there.
Have fun reading!
