Is there a shaft drive conversiopn for the raptor titan to replace the belt? Is there a carbon fiber frame ungrade for the titan? Thank you

You dont need a torque tube drive on the 50.

I know I don't need it, but I want to change it.

I would ditch the belt on my R50 as well if the conversion were available.

yeah Mark, I think it would be more efficient.

Bugger that. I have a R90 and 2 R50's and I would choose the belt over the shaft every time. Quieter, more forgiving, and easier to set up. The belt doesnt die in a tail strike either...

Yep, exactly my point.

Well...each our own, I guess :D Haven't had to fool with the tail on my Bergen gasser since I built it. Can't say the same for the belts. :(
The cost of the tail gear in a R90 is insignificant, at least in compairison to the carbon fiber tail blades you will have to replace as well with a tail strike.
Obviously something has to give and these gears are as good as anything and they are relatively easy to replace.
Others may feel differently.

Point taken! I shall hang my head in shame next time a R60/90 flier walks past. :noteworthy This is why I dont have tail strikes anymore.
Is it normal for the tail gears on a R90 to be fairly loud then?
If your tail gear is loud on a R90 then there probably is a problem. I short it will not be loud for long!
Best advice is after ANY tail strike with a R90 open up the tail gear case and take a look.
