Ok... I have been wanting to do some basic LED's on my TRex 450SE. I don't have a scale body...yet...but am just interested in lighting it up for fun.

I've looked a lot online, and found a few DIY projects, but they seem to include parts I'm not sure where to find and schematics I'm not sure how to read. Is there any simple easy buy X then solder X into Y etc...type DIY info out there? Alternatively, what about pre-made setups? I've seen this:

But seems expensive. I like the idea of being able to Y-split my throttle servo maybe...? Or better using a 9Volt battery... It seems I should be able to buy an LED, a 9volt connector and the right resistor or such and is that it?

Thanks!

You can make your own really easy unless you want the strobe.

Yeah I don't mind making my own...you have instructions that are readble by those who don't know or have forgotten how to read electrical charts, and info on where to order parts from?

Thanks for the link...still reading it...lots of info, pretty much what I needed. One last Q...since I don't have a spare receiver jack.... I assume I just need to buy some sort of Y splitter from my LHS and then wire the led's to a jack that will go into that yes? Any particular jack I should be using/splitting? I think I read somewhere to use throttle?
