I've been unable to find any documents (PDF) or otherwise for an Enya SS35TN. I'ts the O.E. engine in my shuttle zx. I recently bought a second complete shuttle zx on EBAY....If I force fuel into the carb with my fuel pump, it will start and run if I continue cranking fuel in. Otherwise they won't even start. I've checked MRC, googled ENYA ENGINES in every variety.....No documents. Where can I find the manuals? The CARB specifically. :?: :?: :?: :?:

Sounds like you have old fuel gummed up it your needle valve, I'd take the carb off and cleaning good. I had a old os 40 plank engine that sat for a long time do something like that so I cleaned it out with carb cleaner that I got from the auto parts store and it solve the problem. Might work for you also.
another thing, how many turns open is the needle??

Thanks MO_Helinut, I'll give it a try. The "original" shuttle I have sat for about 6 years. The carb and engine were gummed up badly. I disassembled the carb COMPLETELY to clean it now I've lost the base settings for starting, let alone running. The newer shuttle was purchased as a "runner" on EBAY. That's the one I can run with the fuel pump. I'm not going to try disassembly of that carb. Too risky without a manual for basic settings. I'm going to give it a try with the carb clean like you say. I'm trying to start it with 1.5 turns from all the way in.
Thanks again

No problem :thumbsup2: good luck!
The TN carb is finicky to say the least. I would start with it about 3 turns from closed on the high needle and probably 1.5 - 2 on the low needle.
Just about the time you get the needle set the wind will gust and you'll have to start over, or the fuel nipple will fall out, or.... etc.
If you can afford an OS, I would definitely go that route. or try and find a supertiger carb or something else that will fit.

Thanks Art,
I was able to locate my originl info. It's all set now. I've run a few gallons through it and had a small mishap, but it's back in the air again.
Thanks Again,
Keith
