just installed this tail upgrade heli flyes great, temperature of motor very cool, but its a problem flightime very short,,,its this normal? do i need bigger batteries?

Ah, my CPP has the stock tail, so I don't know.

It shouldn't drop your flight time by more than 1-2 minutes. At least as a guess.

How short are your flight times. I have the tail upgrade and I haven't noticed a significant reduction in flight time. How did you solder the motors?

like 3 minutes, should be motor problem just change it,,,will see today......

The dual tail mod shouldn't draw any more current than the stock. Actually from tests, it should pull slightly less because it puts less load on the motors which puts them in a more efficient curve.

One thing that I can think of. Did you break your motors in before you started flying? That can cause excessive amp draw and arcing.

If not, try that and see what you get =)
