I recently just ordered a bunch of upgrades for my BCPP. It was all reccomended stuff, a ar6100 reciver for my DX7, eflite esc, G90 gyro, Park 370 4100kv, etc. so when i was looking over my heli i relized, when i take my 3 in 1 out how will i plug the tail motor into the gyro? is it ok to plug just the 2 plugs onto the 3 pronged gyro? will that work? am i forced to keep the 3 in 1?

basically seperating the reciever from the motor controls/gyro..etc so you can use seperate components as you want to.

Your tail motor will have to be plugged into a separate ESC which is in turn plugged into the gyro which would be connected to the rudder channel of your receiver.
Some instruction can be found here. http://www.helihobby.com/html/separate_electronics.html
This is for a FP heli but it is the same for a CP heli except for the third servo.
