When setting up the swash on the G4 frame, should I set the it level with the ground or with the frame? Thanks!

It should be 90* to the mainshaft, no matter what. I use a zona brand mini square laid along the mainshaft and sight across the shorter leg to level the swash, but trust me you can do it just fine by eye.
SIght across the bearing block with the swash down, work for an even reveal, and go for it.

that's an amazing frame. i love mine.
you can eyeball it as WB says. and, you can doublecheck your're level by verifying 0° at midstick all the way around the shaft using your pitch gauge. then proceed from there normally with the rest of the head setup.

The swash tool that Ready Heli sells is an awesome setup tool as it rides down the main shaft, I use Helicopter John's tool to set the correct height, then drop the Trueblood tool over the main shaft and get everything level, then you can go full positive and double check everything is still touching on all three posts and do the same at full negative, I just bought the T-Rex 600 tool and it fits a 10mm main shaft so it will work on any 10mm shaft, its a great tool for setting up you heli.
