View Full Version : TOYS R US TANDEM HELI ?

I saw a tandem heli at toys r us yesterday .... anybody know anything about them....... Do they fly ?

Was it really a tandem (biaxial) or a coaxial (one rotor stacked on top of the other)? If it was the Air Hogs Helix or Reflex coax, yes it flies ok for a living room flyer. Slow control response as it uses thruster motors, so it handles kinda like a hovercraft, but it's pretty stable. Mine needed a little weight added to the tail for a good hover.

If it was a tandem, I'd like to see that - sounds cool!

YES it is a tandem helicopter...I have been saying for a little while I wished someone would build a tandem heli Then I went to TRU and there it was....WISH I would have read the box better....IT is a AIR HOG or a FASTLANE but really not sure..............WANNABEE PILOT

sweet I'll see if I can find one at the TRU's out here. I went back to TRU today....SORRY I got fooled The Box said FASTLANE RC But the Rc in this case is remote control...Sitting right in the middle of the RADIO CONTROL planes....Again I am sorry

Hey no problem man, but now I have an urge to find an indoor tandem heli :mrgreen: I think I saw someone combine two picoo-z's together, hmm.....
