Hi Freaks:-)

Do anybody know if the Hatori 939 and the Hatori SB18 is the same?
If not: what is the difference and what does it mean?

Here in Europa the 939 is almost half price of the SB18.....at least from the UK store that has the Sb18.... :(

From my understanding one of the main differences is the header length. There is also some internal differences is what I have been told.
SB 18 is $190 here in the USA.

They are not the same. The hatori usa and hatori japan mufflers are not the same.

Hi

SB19 is that the same as 938?
What RPM is SB19 designed for?

Anybody ever tried/compered the SB18/SB19/938?

The SB Hatori's are different than the 3 digit Hatori's.

There is no SB19.
There is an SB 18 for a rotor speed of 1900 and up for the CSpec and SZ

There is a SB 17 for rotor speed less than 1900 for the OS 91

The SB designation is derived from the US importer's name - Rich SaBin. Rich has the pipes built to his own spec by Hatori Japan. Rich has his own group of pilots he works with to optimize the design. Jason Krause and Todd Bennett being two of them worth a mention. It is Rich's design, and his line is not sold by Mr Hatori in other markets.
