Hello,

I have been flying my eShuttle today using a TP4600 6SXL battery and was wondering how hot is too hot for the battery? I shot it with the temp gun right after spooling down and the hottest reading was 106 degrees. This is warm to the touch but not to hot to handle.

So, can anyone give me a heat range that would be normal for a 6s pack flying about 12 minutes (just hovering around).

140F is the maximum safe temprature. Keep it cooler for longer battery life.

That would be HOT. I guess 106 is fine then, thanks for the response.
