DX6 mode changing

I am chasing information to help a friend who want to buy dx6 mode2

but i couldn't find much info about changing the mode on dx6

if anyone know please let me know. would be appreciated.

The simplest way is to buy the mode you need to begin with.

You can change it in the software but you still have to mod the sticks so the throttle is on the left.

Seem like there no Mode 2 avialable here, and every dealer keep telling me mode2 has been backorder long time ago...

Have anyone done it before?
one dealer claims he can mod it, but hes waitting for stock from spektrum. exactly like u said, re-software and hardware modification.

on my transmitter (not a dx6) you press a few buttons and you can change between mode 1 and 2, and then if i take the transmitter apart i can take the spring off the right stick and put it on the left stick so i now have a mode 1 transmitter. im not sure if it applys to the dx 6 but it certainley is possible if there is an option to change the mode in the software.
