Hi , has any one any actual experience with FSone sim?

I have found that while the learning hover function using one or more control only in Reflex XTR is very good for learning , the heli seems to disappear to a dot in a very short distance when trying the simulator flying field/s mode.
is there a sim that keeps the perspective more accurate?

I was wondering what any ones comments on that might be on this with the FSone software .I was also thinking it looked like in the dark wet winter nights at least you can have some game fun with it.

There are better sims out there. G3, Phoenix, and Reflex all have better physics, in my opinion. I will say that G3 is my fallback sim - overall I just find its flight characteristics the most realisitic for me. It also has the "games" and multiplayer for times when you are bored. And the hovering trainer is pretty fun as well.

Realflight lets you tweak the perspective however you wish, so not a prob. Also, out of the box, the Phoenix sim has very good perspective views.

FSOne is not a great heli sim for the money - great graphics, but only decent physics AFTER some tweaking. The views are pretty good though.

Just my 2 cents.

If you have FSone then you can press "A" for autozoom and it'll follow the heli pretty well. If you dont have it, buy something else. I bought it and its good enough for me, but I didn't know that the other better ones were in the same price range.
I never play the "games"

i had a play with FSone not so long back.

i dunno what they are playing at. scenery detail is low, no masking on trees so you cant fly behind em.

and the GUI is just hidious not used such a slow and funky bit of software in years and dont even get me started on the physics.

Just FYI I bought FSone and I HATE it! :arggg: I've been having all sorts of problems setting it up to work with my TX and I think I would have been better off spending the money on a crash kit for my t-rex...........That about sums it up.

I used to own FSOne, and I sold it fast. If your PC is not top of the line, it will bring it to it's knees. :bomb: Not a good variety of Helis, and the website has not made any new models since inception. :badair: I since have moved to RealFlight 3.5, and have never been happier. :glasses2:

Wow I am glad I read this thread. I was actually leaning toward FSone, but so far all I have found is nothing but negativity in refrence to this sim. You guys finally made up my mind, I will look into G3.5 or something similar.
